Marketing Plans can be easy!

Many providers try and make putting a marketing plan together a needlessly complex activity. It does not need to be just follow the following process:

  1. Define who you are – what are your business values and customer mission?
  2. Who is your customer – where do they live, how much money do they have, what do they do for a living, what sex are they?
  3. Who has your customers already (not just competitors, what other businesses do they use)?
  4. What type of work does your business tend to attract?
  5. What do you offer – why do your customers pick you?
  6. Using the principle of one idea per month – what is your advertising strategy?
  7. What does this look like – plan for each month the action, they desired outcome?
